from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ruth Ingrid Richard (* 1902 or 1903 ; † unknown) was a German beauty queen and model from the 1930s.

Life

In 1931 the organizers could not agree on a Miss Germany . At the beginning of the year at the Hotel Kaiserhof in Berlin , the magazine's jury selected Ruth Ingrid Richard, a niece of the circus director and champion of women's emancipation Paula Busch. She had already been runner-up a year earlier.

A short time later, the baroness and actress Daisy von Freyberg, known as Daisy d'Ora , won the same title at the Eden Hotel . However, the Miss Germany website states the year 1932 (in contrast to its other list, which does not include this winner at all).

In the same year Ruth Ingrid Richard also took part in the Miss Europe election, while Daisy d'Ora traveled to Miss Universe .
