The Rutland Nunatak is a 2070 m high and conical nunatak with some rocky outcrops in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises 16 km east-northeast of the Wilhoite Nunatakker in the western part of the Chapman snowfield in the Churchill Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2003 after the cartographer Jane Rutland Brown, who worked in the special maps department of the United States Geological Survey from 1951 to 1971 .
