The Wilhoite Nunatakker are a group of dark nunatakkers in the Transantarctic Mountains . They are located near the polar plateau around 19 km southwest of the All-Blacks-Nunatakker .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 1965 after the weather ship USS Whilhoite the United States Navy for the support of flights between New Zealand and Antarctica as part of Operation Deep Freeze of the year 1961st
