Ruy de Freitas

Ruy de Freitas (born August 24, 1916 in Macaé , † August 2, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro ) was a Brazilian basketball player who took part in two Olympic Games. At the 1948 Summer Olympics in London , he won the bronze medal with the Brazilian selection under coach Moacyr Daiuto . Four years later, in Helsinki , Brazil finished 6th.
