Ryu Fujisaki

Ryū Fujisaki ( Japanese 藤 崎 竜 , Fujisaki Ryū ; born March 10, 1971 in Mutsu , Aomori Prefecture ) is a Japanese mangaka and illustrator. He won the 39th and 40th Tezuka Award , which is given by the manga magazine Shōnen Jump .

He made his debut in 1990 with the manga WORLDS . His best-known work is the Hoshin Engi series . His other works are: Psycho + , Dramatic Irony , Sakuratetsu Taiwahen , Waq Waq , and most recently Shiki , which is based on a novel by Fuyumi Ono .
