Ryū Kawakami ( Japanese 川 上 竜 , Kawakami Ryū ; born October 25, 1994 in Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Ryū Kawakami learned to play football in the youth team of Fukuoka Iki FC and Avispa Fukuoka and in the university team of Fukuoka University . He signed his first contract with Fukushima United FC in 2017 . The club from Fukushima , a city in the Fukushima prefecture of the same name in the northeast of the main island of Honshū , played in the country's third-highest league, the J3 League . In 2018 he moved to league rivals Giravanz Kitakyūshū to Kitakyūshū . In 2019 he was with the club champion of the third division and rose to the second division.
