All Saints' Church in Ryde

There are several churches in Ryde, including the All Saints' and Holy Trinity Church . Ryde Castle was built on the promenade around 1840 . The building, built as a private house, is now used as a hotel. In March 2012, Ryde Castle was badly damaged in a fire, but was able to reopen in 2013 after an extensive restoration. The Beldornie Tower manor , which probably dates from the early 17th century, was once owned by the Earl of Yarborough . Around 1840 it was rebuilt in Gothic-Jacobean style and got a west wing in 1880.
