Plounéour-Trez ( Breton Plouneour-Traezh ) is a former French commune in Brittany in the Finistère department with 1,187 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

With effect from January 1, 2017, it was merged with the municipality of Brignogan-Plages by a decree of June 29, 2016 to form the Commune nouvelle Plounéour-Brignogan-Plages and now has the status of a Commune déléguée .

geography

Plounéour-Trez is located in the north-west of Brittany directly on the Atlantic coast . Lesneven is eight kilometers south, Brest a good 30 km southwest and Paris around 480 km east.

traffic

In Landerneau and Brest are the next departures of the highway E 50 ( Rennes -Brest) and regional stations on the railway line Brest-Rennes and Brest- Nantes .

The regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne is located 23 km southwest of the municipality (all information as the crow flies ).
