Ryōsuke Shindō ( Japanese 進藤 亮 佑 , Shindō Ryōsuke ; born June 7, 1996 in Sapporo , Hokkaidō Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ryōsuke Shindo learned to play football in the youth team of Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2015. The club from Sapporo played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2015 he played 14 times in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. At the end of 2016 he was champion of the second division with Sapporo and rose to the first division. In 2019 he was in the final of the J. League Cup with Sapporo . The final against league rivals Kawasaki Frontale was lost on penalties.
