S&P Global 1200

The S&P Global 1200 ( Standard & Poor's Global 1200 ) is a stock index that includes the stocks of 1200 of the largest publicly traded companies. It was introduced in 1997 and is part of the index family of the rating agency Standard & Poor’s .

The S&P Global 1200 is weighted according to market capitalization and covers around 70% of the global capital market in terms of value.
