São Mamede de Este is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
São Mamede de Este belongs to the district of Braga in the same district Braga . The community had an area of 6.6 km² and 1805 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Este (São Mamede) and Este (São Pedro) were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Este (São Pedro e São Mamede) .
