São Pedro is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Torres Novas . The community had 5569 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Torres Novas (São Pedro), Lapas and Ribeira Branca were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Torres Novas (São Pedro), Lapas e Ribeira Branca . Torres Novas (São Pedro) is the seat of this newly formed community.
