Särkänniemi [ ˈsærkænˌnie̯mi ] is a peninsula in Tampere, Finland . On it there is an amusement park of the same name (colloquially often called Särkkis or Särkkä ) . It was opened in 1975 and is owned by the City of Tampere, previously called Neula's Amusement Park. The attraction portfolio includes six roller coasters: Tornado (Inverted Coaster from Intamin), Hype (Sky Rocket II from Premier Rides) Half Pipe (Halfpipe from Intamin Rides), MotoGee (Moto Coaster from Zamperla) Trombi (model Volare from Zamperla, a Flying Coaster) and Vauhtimato (Zierer Tivoli Small). Water attractions are a flume and rafting, other rides are a Troika from Huss, Giant Discovery from Zamperla, Power Surge from Zamperla, Viking (ship swing from Zierer Rides), an aquarium , a planetarium and a small zoo.

For the 2019 season, a 68-meter-high vertical drive of the Z-Max type was built by Zamperla, the name of the system is Boom.

In addition, the park was home to the world's northernmost dolphinarium from 1985 to 2016 . The four Särkänniemi dolphins have been living in the Attic Zoological Park in Greece since August 28, 2016 .

The Näsinneula observation tower and the Sara Hildén art museum are located on the site . Around 600,000 people visit Särkänniemi every year, including 500,000 during the summer season.
