Souvenir hunters take souvenirs from the stadium. (November 2014)

The stadium was built in 1966 and was the home ground of the Hammarby IF football team until 2013 . In 2004 the stadium was renovated and new standing room was created in the east stand. The largest number of spectators of 15,626 was reached in 2004 at the football game Hammarby IF against Malmö FF . Until 1989, the stadium was also used for bandy games in winter, for which an artificial ice surface was created.

After the Hammarby IF moved to the Tele2 Arena , the stadium was mainly used as a training facility. The demolition work began at the end of April 2015. A decision about the later use of the site has not yet been made.
