Søra Rotøyna , also Søre Rotøyna is an island at the southern end of the Hjeltefjord in Askøy municipality in the Norwegian province of Vestland .
It is located south of the island of Midtra Rotøyna , from which it is partly only about 60 meters away.
The island extends from northwest to southeast over about 670 meters with a width of up to 260 meters. It reaches a height of up to 27 meters. There are two small lakes and several houses on the rocky island. There are jetties on the north side and a bay at the north-western end.
North of the island, a ship anchor from the 19th century was found underwater and is considered a protected archaeological site.
