The Sørtoppen ( Norwegian for southern tip , in Australia Sørtoppen Nunatak ) is an approximately 1900 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 11.1 km southwest of Mount Breckinridge .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it in 1946 based on aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . The name valid in Australia was made in 1972 by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia .
