The southern Rimo glacier is located in the eastern Karakoram in the Indian union territory of Ladakh .
The southern Rimo glacier has a length of 22 km. It flows in an easterly direction through the eastern part of the Rimo Muztagh mountain range . The 7385 m high Rimo I is located at the western end of the glacier. The Middle Rimo Glacier runs further north. Both glaciers - the southern and the middle Rimo glacier - end a few meters apart and together feed the Shyok , a right tributary of the Indus .
