The Süreyyabey Dam ( Turkish Süreyyabey Barajı ) is located near Çekerek in the Turkish province of Yozgat on the middle reaches of the Çekerek Çayı .

The Süreyyabey Dam was built between 1998 and 2008. It is operated by the state water authority DSİ and is used for energy generation , flow regulation and irrigation . The barrier structure of the dam is a stone embankment dam with a clay core . The dam is 77.5 m high and has a volume of 7.467 million m³. The associated reservoir, about 18 km long, has a water surface of 41.33 km² and a storage volume of 1180 million m³. The dam serves to irrigate an area of ​​65,323 hectares. A 1.9 km long tunnel leads to the hydroelectric power station. This has three turbines of 4.8 megawatts each  . The standard work capacity is 50 GWh per year.
