Sōjirō Ishii ( Japanese 石井 壮 二郎 , Ishii Sōjirō ; born March 29, 1970 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Ishii learned to play soccer on the school team at Mikage High School and the university team at Meiji University . He signed his first contract with Gamba Osaka in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 36 first division games. In 1997 he moved to the second division club Denso . At the end of 1998 he ended his career as a football player.
