Sōta Kasahara ( Japanese 笠原 宗 太 Kasahara Sōta ; born May 9, 1976 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Kasahara learned to play soccer on the school team at Maebashi Commercial High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Otsuka Pharmaceutical in 1999 . The club played in the country's third division league, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 18 games. In 2000 he moved to the second division Mito HollyHock . For the club he completed 30 games. He then played for Tonan SC . At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
