SiK is a punk rock band from Winnenden , Baden-Württemberg, founded in June 1991 .
Content profile
In terms of content, the band mainly deals with political issues such as B. War , Kurdistan , injustices due to too strict laws and xenophobia . In songs like Europe , Justice or No Sex Before Retirement , the authorities are denounced. But everyday things are also sung about, e.g. B. in times of change , friends or hammock .
The band founded their own label Nix-Gut Records in 1994 to make independent music. Over the years, this label has grown into one of the largest punk mail orders and labels in Germany.

The punk rock band was founded in June 1991 by Andi, Fraggle, Jürgen and Manu and often deals with everyday and political issues. The name SiK originally stood for sex in a chewing gum machine. However, the letters currently have no meaning and are interpreted differently by many people.
