SARM Division No. 1

The SARM Division No. 1 is a division in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . It is part of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities ( SARM ) and is located in the southeast of the province. The division comprises 53 rural municipalities; it is administered by William Huber.

The landscape is predominantly characterized by dry grass and prairie land. The division's main industries are agriculture, power generation and the extraction of potash salt , crude oil , natural gas and coal .
