SARM Division No. 5

The SARM Division No. 5 is a division in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan . It is part of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities ( SARM ) and is located in the central north of the province. There are a total of 57 rural municipalities in the division; it is administered by Judy Harwood.

Like Division 4, the landscape is in the transition zone from prairie to Aspen Parkland . The vegetation is characterized by dry grassland and forest steppe. Significant branches of industry are forestry , agriculture , manufacturing and mining .
