KK Screen Holdings ( Japanese 株式会社 SCREEN ホ ー ル デ ィ ン グ ス Kabushiki-gaisha SCREEN Hōrudingusu , English SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd. , Screen for short ) is a Japanese plant construction company for the semiconductor and electronics industry with headquarters in Kyoto . The systems produced are used, among other things, in the manufacture of semiconductor products, flat screens, storage media (e.g. optical discs) and in precision technology. Screen also manufactures digital inkjet printing machines.

The company was founded on October 11, 1943 under the name Dainippon Screen Seizō KK ( 大 日本 ス ク リ ー ン 製造 株式会社 ; DNS) in the Japanese city of Kyoto. On October 1, 2014, the company's name was changed to Screen Holdings.

Screen has several locations in Japan, including offices in Kyoto , Kudanminami, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Etchūjima, Koto and Tokyo as well as production facilities in Kyoto , Yasu, Shiga , Hikone and Taga, Shiga,
