The SC Hakoah Berlin was a German-Jewish sports club from Berlin that existed from 1905 to 1938 and from 1945 to 1972. The home of the football department was the Grunewald sports field in hunting.

Football section

The SC Hakoah was founded in 1905. In 1929 the club merged with Bar Kochba Berlin , but did not play a role in higher-class Berlin football on a sporting level. When the National Socialists came to power , the club was excluded from gaming in 1933 and finally banned in 1938.

In 1945 the association was re-established as SG Hakoah Berlin . In the following years, the club played from 1947 for four seasons in the amateur league Berlin . The best place was a fourth place in the 1948/49 season, but the Hakoah did not have a realistic chance of winning the championship behind the later season winner SG Gesundbrunnen . In 1951 Hakoah Berlin rose together with Alemannia Haselhorst behind BSC Rehberge 1945 and SC Staaken with only three season points from the amateur league again.

In 1953 the association was renamed SpVgg again. Vineta 05 Berlin, sportily the Vineta then sank into the lowlands of West Berlin local football. In 1972 the club merged with SC Corso 99 to form SV Corso 99 / Vineta Berlin . After its renewed merger with Weddinger FC , the club was merged into today's WFC Corso 99 / Vineta .

Rugby section

Since 1931 there was a rugby department, which consisted of 18 members and a men's team. The chairman was James Weichselbaum from Berlin-Tiergarten.
