The SC Schöftland is a Swiss football club from the Aargau municipality of Schöftland . The club was founded on March 20, 1911 in Schöftland and currently plays in the fifth-class 2nd league interregional .
history
At the beginning of the 20th century, English students brought team sports to Aargau. As a result, young men founded the Schöftland football club in the old school building on March 20, 1911.
After 10 years in the 1st division , the first team was relegated to the 2nd division in 1954 . In the 2005/06 season, the team made it to the 2nd interregional league and, after a one-year detour to the 2nd regional league, will be back in the 2nd interregional league from the 2016/17 season.
He took part in the main round of the Swiss Cup in 1946/47 , 1948/49 , 1970/71 and 1975/76 , where he failed in the 1/16 finals. At the Swiss Cup 1993/94 he failed in the third qualifying round.
