The SC Olympia Neulußheim is a German sports club founded in 1911 with headquarters in the Baden-Württemberg community of Neulußheim in the Rhine-Neckar district .

history

The association was founded in July 1911. After the Second World War , the team rose to the 1946/47 season in the Landesliga Nordbaden . With 27:25 points in the north group, they managed to stay in the league with seventh place. After the following season , the league became single-track, due to the fact that the team just failed to make the cut and had to relegate with 23:21 points.

Time in the 2nd amateur league

In the 1950/51 season the club played in the 2nd Rhein-Neckar amateur league within season 1 . With 20:32 points, relegation could be secured. After the 1952/53 season, the club was again in fifth place with 26:22 points, after which the club moved to season 2 . With 30:22 points the fifth place was achieved again. But in the 1957/58 season the team played again in season 1, after this season the league could again be kept tight with 21:31 points over 11th place. After the 1958/59 season, however, the team finally had to relegate.

For the season 1963/64 the promotion to the 2nd amateur league succeeded again, but with 16:36 points the team had to relegate directly to 13th place.

Today as an elevator crew

In the 2004/05 season, the team played in the Mannheim District League and finished the season there with 68 points in second place. The district league then became the district class A Mannheim, from which the club was allowed to rise to second place with 71 points after the next season. After being promoted back to the district league, however, the team was only in 15th place with 33 points and had to relegate as a result. After the 2010/11 season there was second place, which allowed the team to move up to the county league again for the next season. Again the class could not be held and the SC rose again with 30 points over the 15th place after one season. With 70 points, Olympia was already champion after the 2012/13 season in front of the tied FC Germania Friedrichsfeld due to the significantly better goal difference and was allowed to rise again immediately. Also this time the district league could not be held as a division and again the team had to relegate directly to 15th place, this time with 28 points.

This time, after a lost relegation, there should be something with the promotion again after the 2015/16 season. Again the team became champions and smelled up into the county league. For the first time, the league could now be held above 12th place with 30 points. After the 2017/18 season, the team had to be relegated again with 28 points, once again over 15th place. To this day, the team plays in the district class.
