The FC Germania 03 Friedrichsfeld is a 1903 established, German football club based in Mannheim district Friedrichsfeld .
history
Founded until World War II
The association was founded in 1903. From 1917 on, the team twice achieved the championship in the A-class . For the 1921/22 season , the team made it to the Odenwald district league . In Division II, however, the team only achieved 1:27 points, which meant that the team should immediately be relegated from last place. In the 1927/28 season , he was promoted to the Rhein / Saar district league . The team finished in last place with 7:33 points. For the 1932/33 season , the team rose from the district class again in the district league Rhein / Saar . There the club was classified in the Rhine group . At the end of the season, the club landed with 11:25 points in ninth place in its group. For the next season, the leagues were redistributed and the team went into the now second-rate district class . In the 1943/44 season , the team took part again in the promotion round to Gauliga Baden in the group north . With 3: 5 points, however, the team ended up in last place.
post war period
For the 1946/47 season , the team then rose to the then second-class regional league North Baden . With 38:14 points, third place in the north group was achieved in the first season . For the 1950/51 season , the team then went over to the now third-class 1st Amateur League North Baden . There the ninth place could be achieved with 30:30 points. After repeatedly changing table positions, the team then rose after the 1955/56 season in the 2nd amateur league .
In the 1969/70 season, the Badischer Pokal was won for the first time . To introduce the Landesliga Mittelbaden , the team became the first champions after the 1977/78 season.
2000s until today
In the 2004/05 season the team played in the district league - District Mannheim and finished sixth there with 53 points. For the next season the club went to the district class A , where at the end of the season the fifth place was occupied with 52 points. After the 2007/08 season, but the team ended up with only 19 points on the fifteenth place and thus had in the county Class B dismount. The first season here, the team finished with 31 points in ninth place. After the 2010/11 season, the team was able to celebrate the rise again with 78 points over first place. Back in the district class A, after the 2011/12 season, he was placed in third place in the table with 56 points. After the next season, participation in a relegation round could then be achieved via second place, but at the end of which the team should not be promoted. Only after the 2014/15 season then succeeded with first place, the return to the district league Mannheim . In the first season here, the team was able to keep the class with 34 points and thirteenth place. The club still plays in this league today.
