Christian Fickert (born February 10, 1981 in Mannheim ) is a German football player .
Career
The defender began his professional career at SV Waldhof Mannheim . He moved to Rot-Weiss Essen in the summer of 2003 , but was not used there due to various discrepancies. His contract was terminated on December 31, 2003. He then moved to the league for SV Sandhausen and made it to the regional league. In January 2009 he moved to SpVgg Neckarelz on a free transfer , where he played until the 2010/11 season. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season Fickert joined the TDSV Mutterstadt, which had just been promoted to the Association League Southwest. Fickert played 62 second division games (2 goals) and 24 regional league games (no goal). In 2013 he moved to BSC Mückenloch and at the beginning of the 2014/15 season he joined SpVgg Wallstadt, where he played until the end of the 2016 season. In mid-July 2016 he moved to the regional division FC Germania Friedrichsfeld , who is trained by his former teammate at SV Waldhof Mannheim Matthias Dehoust .
With SpVgg Neckarelz, he faced FC Bayern Munich in the first main round of the 2009/10 DFB Cup. Neckarelz lost 3-1, and Fickert was sent off with yellow-red. At the end of the season he rose with Neckarelz in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg .
In the summer of 2011, Fickert moved to TDSV Mutterstadt, and in 2013 he became player-coach at BSC Mückenloch in the Heidelberg district league. In the summer of 2014 he moved to SpVgg Wallstadt in the Mannheim district league. After a short stint at FC Germania Friedrichsfeld, he took up his position as player-coach at SG Dielheim in the Heidelberg district class at the beginning of 2017 .
National team
Fickert played under coach Uli Stielike in the U-18 national team and was in the squad for the U-18 European Championship 2000 together with Benjamin Lauth , Benjamin Auer and Hanno Balitsch, among others . With players like Balitsch, Auer, Jermaine Jones , Denis Lapaczinski and Andreas Hinkel , he was also part of the DFB's U-20 team at the 2001 World Cup in Argentina, but was not used there.
