Corgnac-sur-l'Isle ( Occitan Cornhac d'Eila ) is a commune with 835 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Dordogne in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . Until 1906 the place name was Corgnac . The change was introduced to avoid confusion with other locations in France.

Corgnac-sur-l'Isle is located on the Isle , which has its source south of Limoges in the Massif Central and flows into the Dordogne at Libourne . It is also on the D 76, which runs from Thiviers to Excideuil .
