The canton Thiviers is a French canton in the arrondissement Nontron and Périgueux in the Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main town is Thiviers , Colette Langlade has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2008.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Thiviers included the ten communes of Corgnac-sur-l'Isle , Eyzerac , Lempzours , Nantheuil , Saint-Jean-de-Côle , Saint-Martin-de-Fressengeas and Saint-Pierre -de-Côle , Saint-Romain-et-Saint-Clément , Thiviers and Vaunac . Its layout corresponded to an area of 168.07 km². Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 2441.
