The canton of Vergt was a French canton in the Arrondissement Périgueux in the Dordogne department and in the Aquitaine region until 2015 . The main town was Vergt , and Jean-Pierre Saint-Amand was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2004 to 2015.
