The canton of Le Buisson-de-Cadouin was a French canton in the Arrondissement Bergerac , in the Dordogne department and in the Aquitaine region until 2015 .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "Belvès District". With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the arrondissement of Bergerac.

geography
The canton bordered the canton of Sainte-Alvère to the north, the canton of Saint-Cyprien to the north-east and the canton of Belvès to the south-east , both in the Sarlat-la-Canéda arrondissement , the canton Monpazier to the south and the canton Beaumont to the south-west -du-Périgord and in the northwest to the canton of Lalinde .
Attractions
Regional attractions include a Cistercian monastery with a Gothic cloister from the twelfth century, the bicycle museum in the abbey church, a pilgrimage museum and the Planbuisson bamboo garden.
