history
In 1893 the Cabans parish changed its name to Le Buisson. In 1960 the municipalities of Cussac and Le Buisson merged to form the municipality of Le Buisson-Cussac. In 1974 the municipalities of Cadouin, Le Buisson-Cussac, Paleyrac and Urval were combined to form the new municipality of Le Buisson-de-Cadouin. The Urval municipality was restored in 1989.
