Cours-de-Pile is located in the south of the Dordogne department in Périgord on the banks of the Dordogne river , which borders the municipality to the north. Cours-de-Pile is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Creysse in the north, Saint-Germain-et-Mons in the east, Saint-Nexans in the south and Bergerac in the west and northwest.
