Cours-de-Pile ( Occitan : Cors de Pilas ) is a municipality with 1578 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Dordogne department in southwestern France in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Cours-de-Pile belongs to the Arrondissement of Bergerac and the Canton of Bergerac-2 . The inhabitants are called Cours-de-Pilois .

Cours-de-Pile is located in the south of the Dordogne department in Périgord on the banks of the Dordogne river , which borders the municipality to the north. Cours-de-Pile is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Creysse in the north, Saint-Germain-et-Mons in the east, Saint-Nexans in the south and Bergerac in the west and northwest.
