In the following period a decline set in until the 1920s, which caused the number of inhabitants to drop to 170 inhabitants during short recovery phases. This was followed by an increase to around 230 inhabitants until the 1930s. After the Second World War , the population fell slightly, but entered a phase of at times strong growth that ended in the 1970s with a high of around 485 inhabitants. Another period of stagnation followed until the turn of the millennium, when another phase of growth set in, which continues to this day.
