Attractions
- The parish church ( Église Saint-Seurin ) is an imposing neo-Romanesque building with a transept from the mid-19th century, the facade design of which makes use of the repertoire of forms of the medieval churches of the Charente and Saintonge . The facade is raised by a bell gable, the three-arched design of which is reminiscent of a triumphal arch scheme, which is so popular in southwest France .
- In the open space next to the church there is a claw stand ( travail ) for cleaning and caring for the hooves of working animals (horses and oxen).
- The Château de Prats ( 44 ° 49 ′ 34 ″ N , 0 ° 3 ′ 53 ″ E ) is a two-storey classicist building from the second half of the 18th century. A striking feature is the portico designed with four columns with Ionic capitals and roofed by a triangular gable . The privately owned building was recognized as a Monument historique in 1974 .
- There are three other country estates in the vicinity of the village: Château de Montvert (17th century), Château de Pitray (18th century), and Château du Vigneau (18th century). A half-timbered dovecote ( pigeonnier ) on four supports belongs to the Château de Montvert .
