Saint-Aubin-de-Cadelech is a French municipality with 336 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Bergerac and the canton Sud-Bergeracois (until 2015: canton Eymet ).

The name in the Occitan language is Sench Albin e Cadalech and is derived from the holy Albin of Angers . The addition "Cadalech" could be derived from the late Latin catalectum ( German  burial mound ) or in its Occitan form could mean "at the end of the river bed".

The inhabitants are called Saint-Aubinois and Saint-Aubinoises .

Saint-Aubin-de-Cadelech is located approx. 20 km south of Bergerac in the Bergeracois area of the historic Périgord province on the southern border with the neighboring Lot-et-Garonne department .

Saint-Aubin-de-Cadelech is located in the catchment area of ​​the Garonne River .

The Dropt , a tributary of the Garonne, forms the natural border to the neighboring Lot-et-Garonne and thus to the southern neighboring communities Lauzun and Lalandusse but also to Serres-et-Montguyard.

The Ruisseau de la Mouline, a tributary of the Dropt, has its source in Saint-Aubin-de-Cadelech. The Mérigole, another tributary of the Dropt, rises on the border with the neighboring municipality of Razac-d'Eymet and flows along it.
