The District of Beaumont-du-Périgord was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Bergerac , in the Dordogne and in the region of Aquitaine .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the departments as part of what was then the "Bergerac District". With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the arrondissement of Bergerac.

geography
The canton bordered the cantons of Lalinde and Le Buisson-de-Cadouin in the north, the canton Monpazier in the east, the canton Villeréal in the arrondissement of Villeneuve-sur-Lot in the Lot-et-Garonne department in the south, and the canton in the west Issigeac .
