While the defensive-looking rectangular bell gable (clocher mur) and the nave of the original building were preserved, the apsisless became after the end of the Hundred Years War (1337-1453) The choir and the west portal were renewed in the Gothic style . Two side niches give the portal a heightened meaning in the sense of a triumphal arch scheme . Church construction has been recognized as a monument historique since 1948 .
