The continuous decline in population in the 20th century is mainly due to the mechanization of agriculture , the abandonment of small farms, the resulting loss of jobs and the migration of many villagers to the cities.
economy
The community is still largely agriculturally oriented, with livestock also playing a significant role. Craftsmen and small service providers of all kinds have settled in the towns themselves. In the 18th and 19th centuries there was an important metal industry in the densely wooded Pays d'Ans .
history
The church was founded on January 1, 2017.
