Sarlande ( Occitan : Sarlanda ) is a municipality with 432 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department Dordogne in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nontron and the canton of Isle-Loue-Auvézère (until 2015: canton of Lanouaille ). The inhabitants are called Sarlandais .

Sarlande is about 52 kilometers northeast of Périgueux . Sarlande is surrounded by the neighboring communities Jumilhac-le-Grand in the north and north-west, Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in the north-east, Glandon in the east, Payzac and Angoisse in the east and south-east, Lanouaille in the south and south-east, Dussac in the south and south-west as well Sarrazac to the west and south-west.
