Biras is about 13 kilometers north-northeast of Périgueux . Biras is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Brantôme en Périgord in the north-east, Château-l'Évêque in the east and south-east, La Chapelle-Gonaguet in the south, Bussac in the west and south-west and Bourdeilles in the north-west.
