Savignac-Lédrier is a French municipality with 717 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nontron and the Isle-Loue-Auvézère . The municipality is made up of several hamlets: Savignac-Lédrier, La Chapelle , where the town hall is located, La Garanne and La Croix-Merle .
geography
Savignac-Lédrier is located in the countryside and historical province of Périgord . In the southwest the Auvézère flows through the municipality, in the northwest the Haute-Loue , a tributary of the Loue . The wooded valleys around the two rivers were added to the inventory of ecologically valuable landscapes (zones naturelles d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique, ZNIEFF).
