The municipality is made up of several hamlets: Savignac-Lédrier, La Chapelle , where the town hall is located, La Garanne and La Croix-Merle .

Savignac-Lédrier is located in the countryside and historical province of Périgord . In the southwest the Auvézère flows through the municipality, in the northwest the Haute-Loue , a tributary of the Loue .
