Bussac is located about 13 kilometers northwest of Périgueux in the Périgord countryside . The neighboring communities of Bussac are Bourdeilles in the north, Biras in the east and north-east, Château-l'Évêque in the east and south-east, La Chapelle-Gonaguet in the south, Mensignac in the south-west and Lisle in the west.
