Saint-Pantaly-d'Ans is a village and a former French community with 146 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Nontron and the canton of Isle-Loue-Auvézère .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of La Boissière-d'Ans , Saint-Pantaly-d'Ans and Cubjac were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Cubjac-Auvézère-Val d'Ans . The former municipalities have in the new municipality on the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative headquarters are located in Cubjac.

Neighboring towns are Mayac in the northwest, Coulaures in the north, Sainte-Eulalie-d'Ans in the east, Gabillou in the southeast, Brouchaud in the south and La Boissière-d'Ans in the west.

history

In the former municipality mark there are numerous hamlets , including Saint-Pardoux-d'Ans . This village was a separate municipality until 1824 and was then incorporated into Sainte-Eulalie-d'Ans . In 1875 it passed to Saint-Pantaly-d'Ans.
