La Boissière-d'Ans is a village and a former French community with 218 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Nontron and the canton of Isle-Loue-Auvézère .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of La Boissière-d'Ans , Saint-Pantaly-d'Ans and Cubjac were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Cubjac-Auvézère-Val d'Ans . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Cubjac.

Neighboring towns are Savignac-les-Églises in the north-west, Mayac in the north, Saint-Pantaly-d'Ans in the east, Brouchaud in the south and Cubjac in the west.
