The Communauté de communes Périgord-Limousin is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on December 18, 1995 and comprises 22 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Thiviers .

Historical development

The community association was originally founded under the name Communauté de communes du Pays de Jumilhac-le-Grand . After the addition of other municipalities from the dissolved Communauté de communes du Pays Thibérien , it changed its name to Communauté de communes des Marchés du Périg Or Limousin, Thiviers-Jumilhac, with effect from January 1, 2017 . This bulky name was changed again with effect from January 1, 2018 to the current name.
