Matthias Dehoust (born December 14, 1973 in Mannheim ) is a former German soccer player who played a total of 90 appearances in the second division .
Career
Dehoust started his career at FC Germania 03 Friedrichsfeld. In 1984 he joined SV Waldhof Mannheim . In 1992 he moved to the professional team, which was playing in the second division at the time. In 1997 he then moved to VfB Leipzig . From 1999 he played at VfR Mannheim in the Regionalliga Süd , 2001/02 at SSV Jahn Regensburg . During the 2002/03 season he moved to Wormatia Worms in the Oberliga Südwest . In 2004 he went to SV Sandhausen before he moved again to VfR Mannheim. In 2007/08 he played for FC Alsbach, from 2008 to 2011 he was under contract with SG Unter-Abtsteinach.
He is currently the head coach of his home club, the regional division club FC Germania Friedrichsfeld . He took over this position during the winter break of the 2015/2016 regional league season and led his team on the last day of the match to keep them up.
The defensive player Dehoust completed 90 games in the second division (6 goals) and 52 games in the regional league (1 goal) in his career. At the beginning of his career he was considered a great talent and once played for the German U-21 national football team .
