The SG Stern Kaulsdorf is a German sports community from Berlin , where football and fistball are played. The football department is a successor to the BSG Lok Ost Berlin , home to the sports field Lassaner Straße .

Football section

Stern Kaulsdorf was founded in 1926 under the name SC Stern 26 Kaulsdorf . From a sporting point of view, the club played no role in higher-class Berlin football until 1945.

After the SC Stern had withdrawn its team from the game in 1944, the club was re-established as SG Kaulsdorf after the end of the war . The loose sports group acted in 1947/48 and 1948/49 for two seasons in the Berlin amateur league . In the second highest Berlin division, the SG Kaulsdorf was consistently in a relegation battle, but could at least leave the sports groups of SG Rehberge , SG Falkenberg and SG Kreuzberg-Ost behind. With the founding of the GDR, and the associated withdrawal of the East Berlin clubs from the city league, the SG disappeared into the insignificance of GDR football.

From 1950 the syndicate resumed briefly under its historical name Stern Kaulsdorf , but was subsequently placed under the sponsorship of the Deutsche Reichsbahn . The rise to the third-class Berlin district league was no longer successful for Lok Ost Berlin .

In 1990 the BSG was converted into the Berlin Railway Sports Club in 1953 . As early as 1994, the foot or. Fistball sections, analogous to the ESV Lok Schöneweide, from the entire Bahn AG association and are again running under the name Stern Kaulsdorf . The current division has been the Berlin district league since 2014.

Fistball section

The fistball section plays in the indoor round 2013/14, with a men's team in the 1st Bundesliga (BL) North and a women's team in the 1st BL North. In the 2014 field season the men are represented in the 1st BL-North and in the 2nd BL-East, the women play in the 2nd BL-East.

Sports ground

Both departments share the sports grounds on Lassaner Straße, directly on the Butzer See. On the site there are two fistball fields, a natural grass pitch for soccer with a cinder track, an artificial grass pitch for soccer and a new grass pitch where fistball and five-a-side soccer is played. In 2011 the construction of the second club house was completed, which includes new cabins, showers and offices.
